What’s New in Zywave: Less Busywork, More Growth

Table Of Contents

Whether you’re a producer trying to keep a pipeline full or an agency owner wondering why prospecting still eats up a morning, this update is about the same thing: less time spent writing and tracking outreach, more time spent talking to people who are ready to listen. Producer Agent is at the center of this round, with a smarter writing engine that adapts to each prospect’s history and a new connection to Zywave’s loss data for sharper context before the first email goes out. Advisor Agent picks up the same thread on the renewal side, and both agents run on the Apex platform connecting them. TurboRater, MarketBasket, and the rest of the portfolio round out this update with their own improvements.

Here’s what’s new for Carriers:

  • Carrier Analytics Dashboard – See what’s driving your MGA Hub business, and where to focus next. See which brokers, states, and class codes drive your MGA Hub quotes and bridges, and spot what is growing or slipping, so you can focus your outreach where it converts.
  • Export Every Contact at Small Companies – miEdge’s job-title filter left some small-company contacts unexportable. You can now bypass it for small companies and export every contact, regardless of title.
  • MarketBasket 2.0: Self-Service Data Exports – MarketBasket is now self-service. Browse, configure, and generate your own CSV or Parquet exports in minutes, with full control over date range, rate source, state, and line of business, instead of waiting on a scheduled report. This is MVP Release 1 of 3, with scheduled exports coming soon.

Here’s what’s new for Brokers:

Advisor Agent (Early Access)

  • Homeowners & Renters Renewal Opportunities. Advisor Agent now spots homeowners, renters, and condo renewal opportunities alongside auto, in one account-level view. Enrich, score, and send HO opportunities straight to TurboRater, the same way you already handle auto renewals.
  • Account-Level Opportunity Dashboard. The opportunity dashboard is now built around the account, not the policy. See every renewal opportunity across lines of business in one view, organized by what needs action.
  • Smarter, More Adaptive Customer Outreach. Advisor Agent’s outreach now adapts to where each customer is in the renewal cycle, for more relevant messaging at every stage. Reply handling and the Human review queue are both easier to work with.

Producer Agent

  • Upgraded Outreach Pipeline. Producer Agent’s writing engine got an upgrade: more precise, context-aware emails that adapt tone based on outreach history. Reply handling and the Human queue are both cleaner for producers who review before sending.
  • Loss Data MCP Integration. Producer Agent now pulls in loss data from Zywave’s Insurance Intelligence platform when researching commercial prospects, so producers get a prospect’s risk profile before the first outreach.

TurboRater

  • Modernized Carrier Credential Management. One credential record now updates everywhere at once. New agents inherit access automatically, and expiration alerts catch problems before they interrupt quoting, not after.
  • Homeowners Added to TurboRater. TurboRater now quotes homeowners alongside auto, so you can quote both lines for the same customer without switching tools.

Benefits

  • Benefit CPQ – Frictionless Quoting Workflows. Benefit CPQ cut the steps between request and proposal, for faster quotes and less manual re-entry, especially for groups heading into renewal.
  • Enrollment Booklet Builder Pulls Plans from Policy Management. Enrollment Booklet Builder now pulls plan data straight from Policy Management, no more Excel uploads for Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, or Disability. A companion update, Benefit Item Management, lets admins choose which benefit items the agency tracks and which sync to the booklet.

Client Cloud

  • Client Portal Gets an AI Search Assistant. Client Portal now has the same AI Search Assistant as Content Cloud. Users can ask a plain-language question, like an OSHA concern, and get back the content and tools they have access to. Admins control it at the portal level.

Agency Matrix

  • Connected to the Full Zywave Toolkit. Agency Matrix accounts, contacts, and policy data now flow into the core platform, so Sales Cloud Performance Suite customers can run the full Zywave marketing toolkit against that book, no more managing records in two systems.

Partner Platform

  • Policy and Contact Data Now Syncs to Core. A nightly sync now brings policy and contact data from Partner Platform into Zywave core, so your full book of business, not just the account record, is available to Zywave’s marketing, content, and Client Cloud tools. Requires a Partner Platform license and the Marketing Lead Generation AI license.
  • Checks, Receipts, and Vendor Bills Move to the Web. Checks, receipts, and vendor bills have moved from Partner Platform’s desktop app to the browser. Agencies with Branch Accounting enabled will also see those fields inline instead of in a pop-up.

BrokerageBuilder

  • Files Now Move Through BrokerageBuilder’s API. BrokerageBuilder’s API can now receive files, not just send them. Connected systems can upload documents and manage folders directly into a BKB account, with no manual login required, and every action is tracked in an audit log.

Here’s what’s new for both Carriers and Brokers:

Apex Platform

  • MCP Gateway & Tool Registry. Apex shipped a new MCP gateway and tool registration system, the foundation for how Advisor Agent, Producer Agent, and future agents discover and use data across the platform.
  • Commercial Loss Data, Now on the Zywave Apex MCP. Connect your own AI assistant, ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, to Zywave’s commercial loss data through the Apex MCP server, no custom integration required. Query cases by company, hierarchy, peer group, keyword, or loss ID and get full detail back inline.

Client Cloud

  • Onboarding API Enhancements. New Client Cloud API enhancements make it easier for large enterprise and carrier customers to onboard clients programmatically, cutting setup time and improving data consistency at scale.
