Zywave’s Summer 2026 product release gives brokers, agencies, carriers, and MGAs a clear look at how Zywave Apex™ — Zywave’s AI platform for insurance distribution — is turning insight into action across the entire distribution lifecycle.
Presented by Zywave’s product marketing and product management teams, the release webinar highlighted updates across three priorities: faster organic growth, differentiated distribution, and a stronger digital client and associate experience.
Zywave Apex: One AI Platform Built for Insurance Distribution
At the center of this release is Zywave Apex, which brings together three components: Apex MCP (Model Context Protocol connectors into tools like Claude, Copilot, and ChatGPT), Producer Agent, and Advisor Agent.
Together, they surface the right insight to the right person at the right moment, then take action on it automatically instead of leaving the follow-through to a manual queue.
Faster Organic Growth: AI-Powered Prospecting and Verified Content
Producer Agent now sends personalized outreach directly from a producer’s own Outlook inbox, so every email, reply, and booked meeting appears in a tool producers already rely on daily. Once a meeting is booked, outreach pauses automatically, eliminating the risk of double messaging.
New Apex APIs and MCP tools give Producer Agent deeper access to company research and content, enabling sharper prospecting briefs and lead discovery directly from Copilot, Claude, or other AI assistants. On the content side, Zywave added more than 600 new pieces of property & casualty and employee benefits content this quarter, including refreshed 2026 mid-year market outlooks and new workplace safety resources.
Differentiated Distribution: Expanded Carrier Access and Modernized Quoting
This release significantly widens Zywave’s carrier and market reach: 47 carriers across 30 states join Benefits CPQ, 17 carriers across 18 states join TurboRater for personal lines, and a new property carrier is now available through the MGA Hub for commercial lines. Benefits CPQ also lets employees self-report census and health questionnaire data through a simple invite flow, feeding directly into quote generation without manual re-entry.
A new “empty coverage groups” capability keeps plans with zero current enrollment visible as real renewal options instead of disappearing from proposals. Rounding out the release, a unified Quote Storage system captures every quote, whether complete or still in progress, in one modernized system that also powers Advisor Agent’s renewal recommendations.
Elevating the Digital Client and Associate Experience
Brokerage Builder’s API now supports file uploads, allowing documents, proposals, and compliance forms to flow in automatically from other systems. Partner Platform and TurboRater now sync bidirectionally, giving agencies a single, unified view of personal lines quoting activity no matter where it originated.
Most notably, Partner Platform and Agency Matrix account, contact, and policy header data now connects directly into Zywave Core, unlocking Producer Agent, Advisor Agent, MCP tools, and Zywave’s email marketing capabilities for those accounts. Client Cloud onboarding is now fully API-driven, and the AI assistant already familiar to Content Cloud users is now available inside Client Cloud as well, letting end clients find compliance forms and resources through simple, conversational search.
