Confidence You Can Cite: Standardizing Compliance Across 100+ Agencies
There’s a level of confidence when we get a product — if I have to pull a compliance question out of Broker Briefcase, it’s been legally vetted. I know I can stand on it, I feel comfortable, and I know I have credible data.
BACKGROUND
Patriot Growth Insurance Services is a full-service, national agency that has built more than 100 agencies and locations over the past seven years. Greg Feigenbaum has worked with Zywave's tools since 2012, across several agencies, before joining Patriot. Today he leads employee benefits operations for 10 Northeast agencies, bringing consistency and shared best practices to a fast-growing, multi-agency organization. Broker Briefcase (now a part of Content Cloud) and Brokerage Builder were already part of that foundation when he arrived.

OPPORTUNITY
Running dozens of independently built agencies under one growing platform brings an obvious challenge: consistency. Compliance guidance needs to hold up the same way regardless of which agency or region is using it, and it needs to be reliable enough for an advisor to stand behind it in front of a client. As Patriot has grown through acquisition, it has also worked to consolidate a mix of legacy, agency-specific tools onto shared platforms nationally, giving every agency access to the same dependable resources.
From a Broker Briefcase perspective, it gives all the agencies a chance to go out and pull a document on whatever it happens to be, whether it’s state-specific or a national topic, and have those resources available. Having a resource at their fingertips has probably been the biggest asset to come out of it.
SOLUTION
Content Cloud and Brokerage Builder gave Patriot’s employee benefits agencies a shared foundation of extensive compliance content, HR support resources, and an operational platform every agency could rely on regardless of size or region. As Patriot has worked through its broader platform consolidation, the large majority of its 54 employee benefits agencies have standardized around Zywave, giving the organization a more unified base to build from.
IMPLEMENTATION
Feigenbaum’s team has worked closely with Zywave’s customer success group on education and rollout, including webinars and a push to promote the client portal more actively with policyholders. Feigenbaum credits the Zywave sales team with being proactive, looping Patriot into early conversations about new capabilities, including Zywave’s AI tools.
RESULTS
The clearest return has been confidence and consistency. When an advisor pulls a compliance answer from Content Cloud, it carries the weight of daily-updated content, giving Patriot’s teams a credible, defensible answer instead of a guess.
That reliability has let Feigenbaum’s team lean on Content Cloud as the backbone of client education and HR support programs distributed across its Northeast agencies, with a broader enterprise-wide rollout of shared tools continuing to expand.
There is a lot of content, and I’m really going to lean on Broker Briefcase because it’s something constantly updated daily. Whether it’s state-specific, or all of a sudden we’re surprised and have a client with a subset of employees in another state, I have to be able to look at those things.
