SilverStone Group has utilized Zywave solutions for about 10 years. Robyn Larson, Director of Strategic Initiatives, spoke with us about the success both sides of SilverStone Group’s business have experienced with the help of Zywave. As a large agency, SilverStone Group has successfully adopted Zywave solutions in many areas of its business, from prospecting to client servicing. “We see both Producers and Account Managers using Zywave, especially Broker Briefcase, in their day-to-day activities,” says Larson.

Solution
SilverStone Group has many Zywave tools, but we talked with Larson about Broker Briefcase and MyWave Elements. Larson says that there are a couple dozen employees in the agency who are in Broker Briefcase every single day. “The people who service the accounts are the ones who know the clients best and can pick out the specific resources our clients might need – communications, learning materials and other content,” said Larson. SilverStone Group’s employees also share interesting new content that they find while searching in Broker Briefcase, which helps keep internal interest and utilization high. “We have at least one global email a week about new content that someone has found,” says Larson.

We also discussed SilverStone Group’s success with SilverSource, their value-add MyWave Elements portal.

“Our portal, SilverSource, has allowed us to leverage our services and create a great exit barrier,” Larson says. Many SilverStone Group clients utilize the portal, and Larson says it doesn’t matter how large or small the client is. Larson says that the clients who use their portal love it and many couldn’t live without it. “Clients love the OSHA tracking and workers’ compensation tools available,” she says. “SilverSource has helped us retain clients, without a doubt. It is a source for vital information, and clients find it harder to leave when they have a tool like SilverSource at their fingertips.”

Results
SilverStone Group has experienced great success with Zywave products. From important documents about health care reform to employee communications and everything in between, Broker Briefcase is a lifeline for many at SilverStone Group. The General Counsel at SilverStone Group reviews the Broker Briefcase documents for accuracy and Larson says, “In the many – probably hundreds of documents he has looked at, I think we have found one mistake. The accuracy is amazing.” Larson says that SilverStone Group has retained clients with the help of Zywave tools and in a few cases, has been able to obtain the AOR. “Zywave’s tools allow us to service our clients and provide them with the most accurate, up-to-date information,” concluded Larson.
