We are excited to share that Zywave has been selected as one of TrustRadius’s 2020 Tech Cares Award winners. The first-ever awards program celebrates technology companies that have gone above and beyond to support their clients and communities in 2020 and during the COVID-19 pandemic.
We were selected by TrustRadius, a trusted customer voice and insights platform, based on the work we did to create our COVID-19 Resource Center, a website that provided a completely free, comprehensive, curated collection of our most impactful, relevant and useful content pieces relating to the pandemic to serve insurance professionals and their clients.
When the number of COVID-19 cases began to grow in March 2020, we knew this was our opportunity to live our vision statement and offer our resources to the greater public.
Trusted Resources for All
The resources on the site served multiple purposes. They helped educate insurance professionals on the latest legislation and guidelines surrounding COVID-19, and they also provided insurance professionals with tools, resources and educational pieces they could pass along to their clients (other businesses/employers), which employers could pass along to their staff.
At a time filled with so much change and uncertainty, staying informed and having the resources needed for accurate and timely communication was essential to both insurance brokers and their clients.
Updated with new content nearly every day from launch through May 2020, the resource center included compliance, HR, employer and employee educational resources in various formats, such as FAQs, infographics, legislative updates, checklists, videos, webinars and much more.
Since its launch, Zywave’s free COVID-19 Resource Center has:
- Housed over 100 pieces of unique content
- Achieved over 45,000 total content downloads
- Garnered nearly 105,000 total pageviews and more than 30,000 unique pageviews
Expanded Content for Partners
In addition to our work on the free resource center, during this time period, our content development team was also working hard to create even more resources within our robust paid content solution.
From March to August 2020, we developed more than 450 COVID-specific resources, including videos, newsletters, legislative updates and more. Additionally, our platform’s advanced content management capabilities helped our customers quickly pivot when COVID-19 required them to work remote, enabling them to stay organized regardless of location.
Finally, to supplement the content in our resource center, we leveraged our in-house experts to educate the insurance industry on COVID-19 and its impact through webinars, blog posts and LinkedIn Live broadcasts. All of which has helped us live out our vision statement and empower our industry and the business community to be more informed in the fight against COVID-19.
How the Winners Were Selected
The companies were recognized in either one of two ways. First, their users have highlighted how the organization acted selflessly and in support of their customers through the pandemic. This frequently included offering new capabilities or expertise at steep discounts, or even for free, during the pandemic.
Second, TrustRadius also opened this process to its community, which nominated companies that would meet the above criteria for the award. The research team at TrustRadius individually vetted each nominee to ensure that their actions met its standard for outstanding conduct and support during the COVID-19 pandemic.
