November is not only the last full month of fall, but it is also the month that kicks off the holiday season. Fill in your social media fans and followers on all of the going-ons this month, and help them enjoy a happy and safe November, with these post topic ideas:

  1. November 11 is Veterans Day. Have the veterans in your agency’s office pose for a picture to share with fans and followers. Recognize all the brave individuals who have served our great country!
  2. #MotivationalMonday idea: “I am grateful for what I am and have. My thanksgiving is perpetual.” – Henry David Thoreau
  3. Provide some tips to avoid drowsy driving and stay safe on the road, as November 1-8 is Drowsy Driving Prevention Week.
  4. November is your last chance to enjoy autumn activities. Suggest some local fall-themed outings your audience can do with their families.
  5. While it is an off-year for the presidential election, there are some local elections taking place this year. If there are any elections in your area, remind people to go out and vote on November 3, Election Day.
  6. Insurance #TipTuesday: Hosting a Thanksgiving gathering? Make sure you have enough liability coverage in your homeowners policy for any house guest mishaps.
  7. Remind your fans and followers of any local canned good and food drives happening before the holiday season begins.
  8. Are any of your staff members participating in Movember (Mustache November – the growing of moustaches to support men’s health issues)? Track their progression through pictures and share why they are participating and supporting men’s health!
  9. Help out your fellow local businesses and share some local Black Friday deals and steals with your fans and followers!
  10. Speaking of Black Friday, don’t forget to share some Cyber Monday deals and shopping tips!
  11. Having any fun Thanksgiving events in the office? Perhaps a potluck? Make sure to take pictures and post them to your social media channels!
  12. For #WhipitUpWednesday: Help out all those last minute planners the Wednesday before Thanksgiving by sharing some creative Thanksgiving side dish ideas from your staff.
  13. November is National Diabetes Month. Raise awareness to by posting facts about the disease and how people can stay healthy during the holiday season.
  14. Insurance #FactFriday: According to the National Fire Protection Association, cooking is the number one cause of home fires and home injuries. Be especially careful if you are frying your Thanksgiving turkey this year!
  15. As autumn winds down, start prepping your audience with ways to winterize their homes and vehicles.
